The TAGCA Health Fair was initiated in 2020 in recognition of the need to provide healthcare resources to members of the community who do not have access to basic healthcare services. The first Health Fair was held on September 25th, 2021, with the support of five physician volunteers, who brought a range of specialties to the event. A total of 35 people attended the fair, which offered general check-ups, second opinions, and dental services. The Health Fair was organized with the objective of serving uninsured and underinsured members of the Telugu community, and it is planned to be held on a quarterly basis in the future. The aim of the Health Fair is to provide essential healthcare resources to those who may not have access to them otherwise, and to help ensure that all members of the community have the opportunity to maintain their health and wellbeing.
